In order to maintain a safe work place, risk assessments need to be
conducted at regular intervals or when an activity is going to be
carried out that may create unacceptable hazards. This course is designed
to enable participants to identify hazards and put in place the control
measures that will reduce the risk of injury to employees. This is
accomplished through practical examples presented for discussion and
training in completing a Risk Assessment.
The objective of this course is to equip participants with the expertise
to identify hazards within the workplace and to compile a risk assessment
that will put in place control measures to reduce the likelihood of
accidents or incidents.
