Health & Safety for Managers & Supervisors (1 Day)

Under the Safety Health & Welfare Act 2005 all Management and Supervisors have a duty of care and responsibilities toward the company employees. This one day course has been designed to give a good overview of those responsibilities.

The course content covers such topics as the responsibilities under the Act in the work environment, what the Safety Statement should contain how to identify hazards and write up a risk assessment, what an accident/incident investigation should identify and the importance of communications and consultations in the work place.

Overall the objective is to enable managers and supervisors to understand their ‘Duties’ in regards to safety in the work place as there is a direct correlation between profitable business and good safety practices.
